The World War II Alaska Aviation Photograph Collection consists primarily of reprints of photographs documenting people and places of the Aleutian Campaign during World War II. Included are panoramic photographs of the Adak airfield in October 1942 and interior views of the Shemya officers' club and the Kiska weather station. Also in the collection are several newspaper clippings concerning the Aleutian Campaign and restoration of a WWII-vintage airplane, as well as a photocopy of a certificate of membership in the Weird Order of Oosuk Wielders.
